QuietCool Whole House Fan Wireless RF Glass Switch

We installed a Quiet Cool system a few weeks ago and after some nights of operation, we are quite satisfied. Needed some tutorial from customer service about timing, length of operation, etc and some experimentation on our part. The “high” operation of the fan is quite loud; however after tuning it down to “low” after 10 mins, its lives up to its name of “quiet,”. Most importantly, it does cool down the house!

Unit could not be installed because the sales rep did not properly assess my house. Had to get a refund and wasted my full day off work. Next time listen to the homeowner when they tell you to have a rep come out and physically assess the house.

This whole house fan works much better than we expected. We can open any of the windows in our ranch style house and the outside air rushes in as though there were a box fan on high in each window, but with very little noise. We asked family and friends stand in front of an open window and turned on the fan with our remote to demonstrate, and their responses were all the same "wow, that's crazy". We plan to save on air-conditioning cost on summer evenings. We hired a local electrician to help us with the installation and simultaneously install a ceiling fan in another room, ($700) but because this whole house fan comes with a regular plug and a remote control you don't need an electrician for anything. but he helped anyway because we already paid him for both jobs. Cutting the whole in the ceiling and actually getting the unit into the attic is the only issue you might have, its large and cumbersome and barely fits through normal attic access. I highly recommend this unit.

From the initial phone call to get more information, to finalizing a model to scheduling the install to the installation that went smoothly. Great service from all the crews involved.
