How to Measure
Read Before BuyingRemove your old HVAC grille and measure your register box cutout. For example, if you measure 14" x 8", you will order the LSD-1408.
Step 2The neck dimensions of the new grille will be slightly less than this measurement. For example, for the 14" x 8" size, the neck dimensions are 13.75" x 7.75". This allows for easier installation in tighter register boxes.
Step 3Depending on the age of home and the workmanship of the HVAC installation, slight modification may be required for a smooth fit. This is easy to do on each register box by filing any overspray and straightening the register box.
Step 4The face dimensions on each grille provide ample coverage of the imprint of the old grille, however some may show outside the grille depending on the old grille dimensions.
