Better than I hoped.

Shipped quickly, arrived well-packed and complete, and appearing very heavy-duty and well-built. The installation went fine - I'm a homeowner with modest skills - but having a second person around would make things easier than doing it alone. If you have a choice of places to install the register, pick the one with the most headroom in your attic; that also makes things easier. Works like a charm; I'm very happy with this, and in my (single-story, 1400 sq. ft.) house in California, where !00+ degree days are expected every summer, completely obviates the need for AC.

The QC System is incredible! We initially intended to get a whole house fan when we moved in years ago and just never did. With continued increase in our electric bills we decided to finally do it. The system is effective and truly quiet on the low setting. Using it at night and early morning helps keep our home significantly more comfortable by keeping the upstairs and attic cooler. It doesn’t replace the AC but it does reduce our need for it. The price was reasonable and Installation was surprisingly quick.

Smart Move! Exceeded my expectations!

I was more familiar with the loud whole house fan my son has. It does a nice job but is overbearingly loud as it works. The QuietCool on low is whisper quiet. August is probably our hottest month. My research suggested I probably wouldn't be able to use it much during our "Hot August Nights". I have used it every night since our August 5th install. Before we needed to run the A/C well into the evening, and some times all night long. As soon as the outside air matches my inside air, I turn the A/C off and the QuietCool on. That's typically around 78 degrees. I open two windows about 6" wide, turn the wireless remote on, set it for 8 hours, and run it on low. Immediately there's a cooler breeze pulling through both windows. This creates a nice cool kitchen and master bedroom. Within an hour, the entire house has cooled far better than A/C allowed, as my A/C unit struggles as temps hit 100 degrees. Setting A/C for 78 degrees might show a thermostat setting of 82! The QuietCool drops the house temperature, which the A/C could not do! I am looking forward to my first utility bill since the installation. I expect I will be paying far less to run this QuietCool as opposed to A/C. The real bonus is it absolutely cools my house faster and better than expensive A/C. I'm expecting a quick ROI.
