This is a much needed and thoughtful solution for proper insulation and protection from ice cold winter weather seeping into your living space for the QC Whole House fan when not being used in the winter weather. The fit is perfect. (Instructions were not included. It would have been helpful to be shown how to remove the grate. Also, the insulation insert appeared to be slightly too large. However, I determined that there were two foam strips glued along either length of the insert, and by removing one of them, I obtained a perfect fit).
