I'm happy I did it.

No problems installing or running the fan. It works great. Installation was doable by a novice, albeit a half-day job at least. It surprisingly looks great from below. Only one gripe--I there is a part where you screw the final grill through the ceiling drywall into the black metal flanges. They are not self-taping screws and there is no pre-drilled hole in those flanges so I had to get taping screws or use a metal bit to puncture the flanges. I don't love the glass plate thing. I wish it were dials or something that showed how much time is left or what speed it is on. All in all I'm glad I did it and sell the idea to all my family and friends.

Amazing product!!! I don’t know why I waited so long to get one these. I think it was how loud they were paused my interest. This one is not loud. Much improved design and fan location. I absolutely love this Quiet Cool whole house fan. You immediately feel a huge difference inside your home after installation. I chose to install myself. It’s really easy if you are a good handyman. If not have the pros do it. I got lucky and my attic already had an outlet just waiting for the plug that’s included with this fan. I was able to install it in 1.5 hours. Make sure to watch the install videos and FOLLOW the instructions. My wife usually gets mad at me when I spend a lot of money on something, but this purchase was money well spent in her words. She loves it too. Especially now when her hot flashes come in the evenings. I highly recommend this product. You will see an immediate difference inside your home. If you want cool air from outside to come rushing into your home at a touch of a button, get this product. I got the 4700 and it works great. One more quick note I thought was very cool. We have wood floors upstairs and right below the intake with just two windows opposite from the intake a small tornado of some pet hair and dust formed on the floor under the intake. That is some amazing suction.

This is my 2nd whole house fan for another house

This is my 2nd whole house fan for another house. My first was a Trident installed professionally. This one I installed myself. Super easy, not sure why I didn't install the first one myself. I will say, the Enery Save rone is worth it, it's much quieter than my Trident, not that it's THAT loud, but overall, very quiet on high.

Going directly to QC sales was great. Talked my plan through with sales and the parts were at my home in 2 days. Install was easy and the products work amazing. Keep you ac bills and your house cool with a WHF.
